Jackson1647545504
The MSF is a lot of fun and a great experience for a new rider. I managed to snag a Ninja 250 which was a ton if fun to ride. I posted details of the three days here ... http://jon.shoberg.net/2005/08/10/motorcycle-saftey-foundation-classes.html http://jon.shoberg.net/2005/08/13/motorcycle-safety-foundation-classes-parctical-driving-day-1.html http://jon.shoberg.net/2005/08/14/motorcycle-safety-foundation-classes-motorcycle-ohio-parctical-driving-day-2.html ok ... time to go riding ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/shoberg/sets/694400/

SpaceGhost
Sweet. I will be going soon, I hope I can fix my bike this week. I go aug. 25-28 to this. Thanks for posting, you can use your own bike right? I paid in Feb and that was the earliest I could go. I hope it is not hot!

Thanks for posting, you can use your own bike right? I paid in Feb and that was the earliest I could go. I hope it is not hot! I think you "can." However I would recommend using thier bikes just incase. Personally, I'd rather learn or drop someone else's bike for which I don't have to repair. Read the link about how one girl on the adjacent lot low-slid her bike under a BMV car (Ford Tarus). http://jon.shoberg.net/2005/08/13/motorcycle-safety-foundation-classes-parctical-driving-day-1.html
lemosley01
For the new rider course, you use their bikes. I believe the ERC (Experience Rider Course) they may let you use your own bike.
JaSSon
I took and passed the MSF course this past weekend. I walked in. The class is a lot of fun. Not only was it fun, but I now have my motorcycle endorsement. No, you can not use your own bike in the basic rider course. They have enough motorcycles for everyperson to have a bike to ride. Were you in my class? I was there this weekend also. I wonder if that poor girl will go back and re-test, without trying to stop the bike with her feet on the ground! SpaceGhost
I passed also, $23.50 for my new licence Monday was harsh though, especially when I have to renew it in April again for $24.00! Bastards!
Mitch
I took mine in delaware this weekend, got in as the last walkin. Those nighthawk 250's are much more forgiving than my bike.

Mitch
02 Katana 600, its my first bike, I don't want it to be my last. Its not a gixxer, but Insurance is cheap on it, and it should be good to learn on.
JaSSon
I took mine at 1970 W broad also. I was in Lot A. Closest to the bike shed. Everyone in my class passed. I would have ended with a perfect score on the exam if there weren't tar strips in the apex of the curve they had set up for us to take.
