gt-titan Posted September 18, 2005 Report Share Posted September 18, 2005 i have a 92 gt mustang and picked up a 89 gauge cluster from a gt, i thought they where the same, but there not. can i make it work or do i need a diff year, there are a few things diff but it fits in the dash, but there is a set of four lights on the bottom right side of the 89 set but it's not on my gauge cluster im taking out. little help from the fox body guy's. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

speedytang Posted September 19, 2005 Report Share Posted September 19, 2005 The wiring is all mixed up on the 90+ units compared to the 87-89. gt-titan Posted September 22, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 i have a 92 gt and when i got the car it had the 85mph in it and should have the140. you can tell it's not right cause i have a 5inch tach on the dash and when it's at 2 grand the tach in the cluster is at 4 grand. but you are right,it is diff because of the airbag. i have to find a 90 to 93 cluster. witch sucks cause the cluster i picked up had the svt white face put in it.
