TurboRust
one of two ways, first open your driver's door and look at the dash there should be a panel labeled "fuse" there pull it off and look amongst the fuses for a red "reset" or "oil" button, with the key on, push in an hold, you should see the light flash and then hear a ding from the speaker. if there is no button then turn the key on and hit the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds and that should do it. All this is usually in the owners manual also.

Buck531
And don't do it real quick either. 1...... 2..... 3... Then the oil light should flash. Turn car off, turn back on. Done. Make sure the key is in the ON position.

TurboRust
thats why I said check the fuse panel first, the grand am/malibu/alero bodystyles were known for that button
