If it still had the stock upper and lower type set up, those bolts are huge! I'm thinkin it was 9" upgrade or ladder bar set up and the welds on the axle housing failed. And, I agree - all things considered, the car wasn't in that bad of shape; I imagine it could have been much worse. (Like, what happens if the back end flew off at say, 140mph?)
