Sturg1647545502
What is the deal with intersection cameras at the tops of the light posts? Are they on all the time? are there actually people wathcing, or are they just snapping consecutive shots from when the light turns yellow till a couple seconds after it turns red? what will they get you for and what wont they? so on and so on...if anyone knows anything about them. this was sparked by rushing to a meeting today and the only thing that stoped me from turning right at a redlight with a posted "no turn on red sign" was the newly installed camera staring me down from above... GRN96WS6
Depends if they are set up as a traffic monitor for people to check traffic flow or if they are set up to get offenders who run red lights. Usually if it is the latter (at least here around DC) they are on a post about 7ft in the air and take a pic when you run the red light after it turns red. Sturg1647545502
haha yea i know, but i guess the system works... im afraid of the cameras that you always see on the news, the ones that seem to be up a 1/8-1/4mi away from the intersection....i know the UK has had this technology for a while. im not sure bout the US
Bgbdbn
I wonder if the things you put over your lap top screens to block people from veiwing from an angle would work on lisence plates.
