Guest Crankshaft
Might be a repost, but I looked and couldn't find it. AH64 vs. Exige. This has got to be the coolest job ever, hands down. So now a question: I thought the AH64 (somewhat old as it is) was still a pretty high-tech piece of equipment--since when did we start selling them? And, according to this site, it can hit 227 mph. Who's right?
Science Abuse
The same time we started "selling" F16's and M1s. We let our "buddies" have them if they play nice with us. 227mph is damn fast for a chopper, especialy if its 20 years old. The shape just isn't condusive to going fast. forward propulsion is helped by a pair of pseudo jet Gas Turbines, but there is alot of drag, especialy when fully armed and clad with a Radar Bubble. McGraw
350 kph ... it's like 217 mph. Is it's 'technical' top speed (unloaded) They usually maintain under 155 mph though (250 kmh) while fully loaded.
