Lustalbert
Big blocks have the exhaust ports equaly spaced, small blocks have the middle 2 exhaust ports together. Look at the exhaust. http://www.v8snowblowers.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/blowingsnow.jpg.w560h420.jpg
Guest Removed
and those are spaced, and its rather hard to tell from the angle of the pic.. Im so confident it's a BBC, I'll bet you. look at the shape of the timing cover, look at the pipe plugs in the end's of the heads. and look at the cant on the header bolt's, sbc go straight across, not at a angle. How many SBC have 7 valve cover bolts? HOw much you want to bet it's a BBC?
Lustalbert
Upon further review, I retract my earlier statement. Forgot about the pipe plug in BB heads. Still wondering why the builder would have taken the extra time to put an extra bend in the middle 2 exhast tubes to make them that close togther. Screwy chebby people, Ill stick to my oldsmobiles.
