It's a metal frame (headboard and foot board built in). It's the size of a crib matress. The mattress will go with it unless you don't want it. It's sturdy and still works fine, it's just my son grew out of it. $50. I'll get some pics of anyone wants them. $40 w/o the matress (the matress is still in good shape too).
