I love ford , cause they let HP junkies (the good ones) have a crack at there new car's to put them to the test. i see the new gt500 making the 03-04 cars look like escorts!

I agree. But you won't see many of these on the street and you won't see many of them modded. They are $39,999 before the markup and judging from the Ebay ads I've seen in the past 2 weeks, people are prepared to pay $10K - $20K over the MSRP for one. Which keeps me from buying one... :(

It's going to be just like everything else.

 

If you want to be the first on the block with one, you will pay. Just wait 4-6 months and the lots will be flooded with them. If Ford builds as many as the 03/04 Cobra's then you will be able to get them below MSRP by years end....

 

That's if you don't have a dealer hook up or X-plan pin. :)

At almost 4,000 pounds it's going to need all the help it can get. I don't believe those numbers btw. I've seen one or two Ford Gt's with a pulley and chip only making 625RWHP and the GT uses a twin screw not a Heaton. It will probably make 525-540RWHP range with a pulley and chip.
