Buck531
I think I posted this a year or more ago. I've seen some new peeps log on. Does anyone use/heard of/whatever software decoding for a TV tuner card? I've searched google but that's useless. I've also been on limewire and that's useless too. Anyone even know what I'm talking about?

street pilot
It is possible to de-scramble cable television. I dont know what a "tuner card" is though. You mean a PCI in your computer?

Yup. it's a hauppauge TV tuner card. PCI. I use it to pull movies from my camera to video. I used to have a cable box descramber. Worked freakin' great until WOW ran a new cable line years ago to the pole. Hasn't worked since.

Total Sign
So is there a descrambler that works with digital cable? Where can it be found?
Casper
descrambling cable via a tv tuner is not possible. i actually wrote a paper on why it is not possible. i'll have to dig it up. the signals are even able to be converted by software. it would have to be a hardware descrambler. none are made for PCs that i know of. software cannot descramble cable.
