Buck531 Posted March 18, 2006 Report Share Posted March 18, 2006 Since I drive a Lumina, and NO ONE in their right mind would expect it to run 13's, do I REALLY need a Snell 2005 (or whatever the standards are now) to run at the track? For example. I pull into tech, put the helmet in the trunk and tell him I run 14's. Then, when I run throw on the helmet just so they don't yell at me. I'm sure they won't check my helmet after my mad tyte blistering 13.xx run. Just asking. I really don't want to plop down $100 for a helmet if I can get one for say $50 that will do the job the same.
