SRT4magoo
I used to work for a landscaping company and I mostly cut lawns. Size of the yard matters most. Also how much trim work (weed wacking, tight spots a mower can't get) that needs to be done.
ridenred27
do they just make up a price or do they use a square footage + the extras for a price
SRT4magoo
The guy I worked for just looked around and gave an estimate. Then he would cut the lawn and see how long it took and what not. He would then adjust his quote accordingly.
ridenred27
that is cool i was trying to come up with a formula for pricing. there is a possibility that this will be the next step in employment for me. thanks for your input though. Chad is Dead
I was a foreman for Ameriscape and what I belive it to be is the the main guy would go scope out the place and then throw out a price depending on what they wanted done and how long he estimated it would take. You get a good tan doing landscaping also. But I will never do it again.
NTHER91
bussinesseses'eses are the way to go they pay and you can get contracts you could call an exsisting landscape comany and ask for a quote for say something like the size of a bank one and then you can undercut them buy 10 or 20 bucks and go take there contact shady yes but ive seen it done many times
