Ive been checking these out lately but havent been able to find any good reviews on it. So I was kinda wondering if any of you have had any experience with them or anything to watch out for with them.

PM me for as much info as you can stand on the coupes. :)

I work at Lexus, BTW.

Well these are the 2 that I have been looking at

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/compare.jsp?mod_bookmark_id=null&search_type=both&num_records=&make=LEXUS&distance=300&model=SC300&address=43506&certified=&advanced=&max_price=7000&bkms=1151531775886&min_price=1&end_year=2007&start_year=1981&isp=y&lang=en&ref=srl&compare=204527766&compare=204476566

I called about the one for 3995$ considering its a lot more in my price range and the guy really couldnt tell me much other than what was posted on autotrader. He said he gets 200-300 cars a month so he cant really get too much info on each car. So to me he seems kinda shady about it but the price is a lot more suitable to me.

I will run the VINs tomorrow to see if they have any service history at Lexus Dealerships. When I was looking at a a couple of LS400's I ran the VIN on one and seen where it had been in a Dealership about 2 weeks prior and had been given a quote of about $3000.00 to fix.The owner had declined the work so I decline to look at the car any further.

I have a '95 SC300 NA-t that I'd sell. I want 15k which sounds like that is more than you want to spend. I think it makes 450-500 rwhp. I think it is a neat car...a real sleeper except for the huge FMIC, supra wheels and front brakes.

Thanks Nos and tam thanks for the offer but it is way out of my price range but I would be interested in seeing some pics if you got em. Thats the route I would like to go is NA-T down the road sometime or another. But at first I want to just make it a good reliable car....... for awhile and then add some power.

The green one was at a dealership at 89237 miles and it looks to have a good maintenance record. The black one was last at a dealership at 34832 miles so your guess is as good as mine.

There really arent that many issues with the SC300s. Typical things to look for are oil leaks from the front and rear main seals, valve cover gasket areas. Minor power steering leaks, etc. Wear and tear items such as brakes, tires are common. All in all we dont have that many problems with the cars at all.
