andyjs3589
After driving for around ten minutes, it starts smoking. The smoke is not noticeable while driving. And the temperature gauge never says that it is hot. You can see the smoke in the light of the head lights and it seems to be coming from the are around the dipstick. Any ideas why it is doing this? Also it has 127k on the clock
Buck531
Most likely a valve cover gasket. the front one. If you open the hood, is there a shitload of oil/crud right under the gasket? Gaskets are like $15 bucks from autozone and I can do them if you want. If you're not doing anything tomorrow, you can come to my house and I'll check it out for ya. I am pming you my number There is a decent amount of oil and crud in the engine. I don't excactly know where this valve cover that you are talking about is. Is it the one that you have to take off to get the engine cover off?

andyjs3589
Buck531 you were correct it is the valve cover gasket. The only problem is that the back one is shot too. Thanks for the help
