Guest powers Posted July 15, 2006 Report Share Posted July 15, 2006 the notch in the sleve is ok if it were cleaned up and magnafluxed to maksure there is no cracking coming out from it. It would need to be ground down to a nice smooth finish. The walls look pretty scored up, kind of like your old motor. You would have to see what it looked like after the bore on the block was done. I would drop it off ay Fowler engines and see what they have to say. They are about 3weeks out on machining for aa shortblock right now. But if you can get your money back DO IT.
