I would prefer to sell the shell as a complete unit. The remaining parts that would be of primary interest to people are:

- SOHC engine and 3.94 final drive transmission. The engine is very strong, and both engine and transmission have had synthetic since break in. Transmission shifted clean and smooth; no noise or grinding. There was a new clutch and pressure plate installed about 3,000 miles ago. New NAPA starter installed 5,000 miles ago.

- Front and rear suspension arms, hubs, front sway bar, and brakes. The brakes were new during the last 5000 or so miles. Hawk HP pads up front and Raybestos in the rear. New rotors were installed when pads were changed. Front hubs are the stronger ACR hubs, and new front bearings were installed about 5000 miles ago with the brakes.

- Steering rack and associated components.

- Front axles. Good condition, no noise in CV's or tears in the boots.

- Body from the firewall back. There is minor damage on both front doors from the fenders being pushed into them, but the are generally acceptable. The front drivers door had the lock punched through by some hoodlum. The rear doors, trunk lid, and bumper are in good shape.

- There is a Walker 2.5" exhaust with DynoMax muffler that is only a year old.

- There are probably other parts on the car of interest to somebody.

For the car minus the parts I have taken off, $300. The drivetrain alone is worth that - I just want to save the effort of pulling it. I would much prefer to have it all gone together, but I realize there is a limited market for something like this, so I am flexible on price. Make an offer; you may be surprised.

If there is no interest within the next few days, I will pull the engine and trans to sell, have my friends pick the bones, and scrap what's left. Also, I might be able to deliver the car in central Ohio.

PLEASE PM me and I will send you my phone number so we can discuss. I won't negotiate price here in the thread.

THE PARTS I HAVE REMOVED ARE: Koni Sport struts and Eibach Pro Kit springs, Front and rear seats and door panels, Mopar performance PCM, stereo and speakers, Mopar Performance rear sway bar and all hardware, wheels and tires, battery, Iceman CAI, Chikara header, and catalyst. I am undecided whether I am going to build another Neon so these parts may become available at some point. I will list them separately if they do.

Thanks.

Rich

Yes, everyone is OK. The belt and airbag did its job. Even the motorcyclist is going to be OK - he must have had an angel on his shoulder.

For what it was, it was a very good autocross car and we had a lot of fun with it.

I am tempted to keep my parts and look for a $100 Neon to put them on just to go do it again.

By the way, it's on eBay now as a parts car.
