mmrmnhrm
I didn't even think it was possible for snakes to regurgitate stuff like that. As I understood things, their fangs are designed to ensure "one-way" access through the mouth.
Dr. Pomade
I didn't even think it was possible for snakes to regurgitate stuff like that. As I understood things, their fangs are designed to ensure "one-way" access through the mouth. I don't think anacondas - or any of the contrictors - have fangs. Fangs are used to inject venom, and anacondas and similar snakes don't kill/incapacitate with venom; instead, they kill/incapacitate via constriction. So, it stands to reason that those kinds of snakes - like the one in the vid - don't have fangs. Therefore, no discrepancy, IMO.
Orion
the good doctor is correct, a lot of the constrictors DO have teeth, just not fangs. and theyre not for chewing, theyre just designed to help the snake hold its prey, and help it to get it down. Oo0martelle0oO
If you upset any contrictor they will throw up its meal. Thats kinda the idea they were doing. I used to have 2 ball pythons for about 4 years. I had one throw up once holding after it was done eating.

Cougar1647545494
Did anyone watch that thing on snakes on the animal planet, or discovery channel maybe, about snakes? They were showing how they opened up their jaws and use a breating tube while swallowing their prey. They had the video of the anaconda that ate the man, or was in the process of eating the man. It broke damn near every bone in his body to compress him small enough to be eaten.
