Andy, on the M3, does it have a strip of tint across the top of the windshield? Either way, do you have any shots of the M3 from the front? I'm trying to decide if we should get that strip put across the windshield or not. And, Bryan (aka [ i v i ]), that's seriously jacked up about Accurate Tint - thanks for the warning about them, and sorry to hear that you had that experience. Eli - no problem, homie. It's sex on fucking wheels. Yeah, I'm thinking 50% may not be enough and she'll want to go with something more along the lines of the 35%. I don't really care one way or the other, but the girl thinks it needs to be there. Should she think differently? So, people, weigh in - stripe or no stripe across the windshield? Gay or no? street pilot Posted October 4, 2006 Report Share Posted October 4, 2006 The stripe has kinda developed a bad image due to it being the "ricers" trademark. That said, I always get it, I find it very useful. Sun visors are never big enough. Usually you put something darker such as 20% on the strip, to get the most out of it. I have had them on past cars but will not be able to put on on the 3 due to the dot matrix on the front window plus I don't think it will look right. As for the % of how dark to go if its going on the vette I would say 50%. reason being with a dark colored car with dark int and a small/smaller overall cabin it will look alot darker. I also used a place called accurate window tinting right down the street. I think that guy is the shit. Faster turn around time, cheaper, explains and shows why he is better, lifetime warranty and is all around a great shop. He is always busy but usually puts our cars through quicker than Quality. Also he runs the shop himself so he doesnt work an 8-5 schedule. If you want John I can IM you his number and you can tell him Clark told you to call. maybe even get it in quicker and cheaper.
