This is not a gaming card, it is intended for professional graphic design and web design. The card can support 3 monitors and just about any resolution you can think of. nachius Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 On a side note mentioning that it is not a gaming card, anyone looking to pickup a gaming card this would also work for that purpose. It was well ahead of it's time for gaming compared to Radeon and nVidia of the same time frame. Although targeted for professional graphics this series of matrox cards renders 3d wonderfully! Guest Viruskb Posted October 21, 2006 Report Share Posted October 21, 2006 Nachius i have tried to use it as a gaming card but its way slower than the much cheaper radeon x800 but the amazing picture quaility and the ability to use 3 monitors make this the card to have in all audio/visual/design pcs.
