1qwk767 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Share Posted November 5, 2006 I have a 88 formula firebird with a blown 305 found a replacement motor from a 99 Silverado, without an intake my questions are 1. is this considered an LS1 motor 2. If so will my stock TBi set-up work on this motor 3. Linn1647545492 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 it is an ls based motor. is the motor a 5.3 or a 6.0? all of the intake are interchangeable (lsx based) so that should not be a problem. you will need the wiring harness maf TB and intake.
