I was just wondering if it was legal to have 'smoke' tail light covers. I know you have to have fog lights to have front ones on. Thanks. It's winter, it gets dark early, the vehicle is dark colored, so why make the BRAKE LIGHTS less visible? Illegal anyway, and for good reason. Benny Posted December 9, 2006 Report Share Posted December 9, 2006 My cousin who a police officer told me when i put my overlays on that as long as the reflector is still visable they are legal.
