SamZman
I did a search, but was surprised I couldnt find too much. I want to put one of these in for my g/f, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions or tips? I found some people mentioned the Bulldog cause they are cheap I guess? ..some good..some bad.. Any personal experience? Any suggestions on where/which one to get? I'd like to do this myself cause I'm cheap if that's reasonable... The car I'm gonna do this on is a ~2000+ Honda Civic if that matters... Thanks for any help or tips.
Boost-n-Juice
I've done a few. It's fairly easy. Some cars are naturally harder than others. I would save yourself the hassle and call Pete. I did. Some cars require certain modules for security or door locks etc. It can be a pain. Unlimited Audio and Accessories 614-776-1380 ask for Pete

Oo0martelle0oO
Hey Sam you can go to Columbus Car Audio and pick up a remote start/alarm/keyless entry for 299 remote start/keyless entry for 199 and install it yourself. The brand is Compustar pretty nice setup.
Dr. Apex
I had a Viper setup before and it was nice, though the Clifford would of been better. Be prepared to spend about $100 more if the car is a 5 speed for the clutch bypass. Mobile Electronics was good to me.

Dr. Apex
I'm still ruuning my viper system love the remote start Yeah, the Viper alarm "sounds" are a bit annoying but the systems are decent. Remote starts are the shit on the winter time.

FST94TSI
We can install remote start in that car with a lifetime waranty right now for 149.99. Compustar brand as well. Give me a call at work 614-776-1380. If you want keyless entry it is 25.00 extra. Unless you are an experienced installer installing your own remote start can lead to some serious repair expenses. SamZman
Thanks for the help guys! I waited too late to ask this before Christmas, but I think I'll be getting this as a no-reason gift soon.. So I'll give you a call sometime, Pete. And yeah Brandon the Viper system you hooked me up w/ for my old g/f is still working excellent. Outlasted our relationship even..
