RUTAN TA1647545492
Phillips Racing Engines and I are going to do a intake flow comparison test for LSx engines. I am going to use a stock head and a ported head for the comparison to offer the best comparison possible. We will be using my ported LS6 intake,a victor jr,and am looking a fast 90 to cover the most popular/proven intake manifolds. If anyone has a fast 90 or a ported head off their car we could use for a weekend please send me a pm. Thanks John
koolrayz
I have my intake and heads off at the moment. not sure if the direct port nozzles will have an effect on the test. I could strip the direct port and plug the holes.
RedRocket1647545505
Check with Rob McQuaid with the yellow C6 vette. He currently is having his stock manifold ported by some guy in Washington. Not sure when he'll have it back, but you might add a ported LS2 to the test as well. 'Ironeagle' on here, 'C6' on RC.... V8 Beast
How many different combos are you trying to run? Any need ls1 or AFR heads.
RUTAN TA1647545492
I am thinking that Sam's heads may work best so that the cylinder head doesnt restrict any flow.It also helps that anybody can order those heads from livernois without paying a fortune for a hand ported head.
