90_EAGLE_TALON
I have a 90 Eagle Talon non turbo and I have put a new battery and new alternator on it and it still will not charge the battery. I am going to take the alternator back off and have the battery and alternator tested again but i was wontering if anyone knew of a fusible link or fuse in between the alternator and the battery. If you do then i would like to know where it is located so i can check it. Thanks.

Guest Hal
High resistance somewhere? Have you done any testing other then replacing parts with known good parts?
Guest Removed
check for battery voltage at the big wire on the back. if there isnt any, theres the issue, should be a big bolt in fuse, in the under hood fuse box, but my memory has't been sevring me well lately. verse
Where did you get the alternator from? I've had numerous problems with brand new alternators when working with DSM's. I had to replace it 3 times on a FWD turbo Laser before I got one that worked.
