Dave1647545494
I've never had to do one, but I hear the clutch is kind of a bitch to do in that car, and the engine bay is pretty cramped, but you do own an f-body and everything is realative... car does look like like its in dewcent shape just needs cleaned up some

launchin1st
clutches arent that hard to do in these, but the general upkeep and maintance is expensive. but they are fun cars. heavy, but fun.

V8 Beast
awd snow donuts ftw. Exactly what I was thinking LOL!!!! I think the weight of it is perfect for her. I'm going to see if an autoshop out there will go inspect the car for me. Take a few things apart and check for rust etc. This way I can get a good estimate on what work really needs to be done for a few bucks. Mr3GTP
Nice, I like the VR4s a lot; I think they look good, have decent power, and they launch like you got rear-ended! The decent interior and low mileage are a plus on that car, as is the good rubber.

He tends to know a lot about those cars and may be able to steer you in the right direction. Just tell him I sent ya to him.

V8 Beast
Thanks everyone. I'll give them a call Monday and see if I can talk them into paying for shipping I figure since I'm paying for it in cash they should give me some type of discount. MrMeanGreen
I'd go to LS1Tech and see if anyone from the CFBA could go test drive it for ya. I know quite a few in the area from my days in Florida.

V8 Beast
With the clutch being out how can anyone get a real feel for the car? How much do you think I can talk them down? Something tells me they just want to get it off the lot.
MrMeanGreen
Then buyer beware. That's why you need to have someone go through everything on that car. Also ask if it's passed emissions, because that could pinpoint problems as well if it didn't.
V8 Beast
Very true. And "The transporter" will deliver it to my doorstep for $650. Not bad at all, nice find!!!!
Rally Pat
A little work and that would smoke a WS6, I would watch out for your old lady. Keep track of her purchases, and make sure you see all the fed-ex boxes coming in. You could be developing a rival and not even know it. Turbotrio
slowmotion is doing a clutch job on a 3000 right now, there prices are usally low has someone beat there price or take it there. We do clutches on the turbo 3/S cars almost weekly here -- I have 3 here now getting upgraded clutches among other things. I actually have 10 Twin Turbo 3/S cars here right now total (2 were shipped up from Florida and NC coincidentally) so there is nobody in the state that knows the cars better. Hell, there is nobody in the Midwest that knows the cars better. That being said, Ryan did quite a few while he was here so he is fully capable -- he just hates them Brian, I have been keeping an eye out for ya on the forums but this looks like a very good deal. I also have many many 3/S customers in Florida if you need any help trying find out some history on the car or getting it taken for a test drive. Also, if you just need some good advice on what clutch to go with and great pricing just let me know! Jeff
