Stimmel1647545512 Posted February 1, 2007 Report Share Posted February 1, 2007 okay long story short my girlfriends brothers girlfriend yes i know haha has an 1988 GT 5spd no cats flowmaster and a bbk cold air other that that its bone stock 88 gt convert my girlfriend has a 1992 5.0 lx convert with an aod but its also has exploer gt40 intake bbk 65mm throttle body and spacer march ram air march underdrives coolant line bypass on throttle body mac headers mac pro chamber flowmaster catback 3:55 rear gear and thats all i know of as now bought the car with all this any ways the stock 88 blows the lx away is the aod the problem? or does the lx need tuned or somehting ? any ideas? Guest Hal Posted February 1, 2007 Report Share Posted February 1, 2007 The AOD will suck up some power, but I don't see it being enough to cause much of a difference.
