baron_
Need an aluminum valve cover welded - two, actually long story short: idiot friend was doing 'favor' and cutting custom holes in them for my breathers (sheet metal valve covers) anyways, he cut the holes too big, so the rubber grommets and the breather is loose not a huge deal - they still fit and don't come off but there's some oil loss because of the loose fit and it's bothering me hoping to find someone that can add in some metal need not be pretty - i can grind down with a dremel for exact fit and no, i'm not using JB weld - i'll have nightmares of it falling down into the oiling holes i hear tinman is pretty backed up anyone else, or any shops i can drive to thanks! Guest GMoney
I can do it and even drill the hole to what ever size you need on a mill. Why not eliminate the gromits and have a aluminum bung welded in place so that you could thread on a breather? i could also do that if needed
baron_
interesting point i've got billet specialties breathers now the type that unscrew, so you can replace the filtering element in side of them they're billet though - will those weld into the aluminum without too much headache? (might be easiest)
