Thanks for the ideas, but my tractor is a pretty small Cub Cadet, and the driveway is just too freaking long for a snow blower. I'd like a quad to play with a few times a year, anyways. RS69 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 I would sugguest a Yanmar tractor with a blade. This is a compact diesel tractor that does the stuff. I have 250 foot driveway. My set up includes a loader, blade and a 60 inch mower on my tractor and have invested under 10k for the whole deal. The same set up with JD will cost you near 20k. You listed a 10 year old, base-model Cavalier as "worth a lot more than I'm asking", which started $200 OVER book, misled people on mileage, by 40,000 miles, don't mention it has no radio...
