Buckeye1647545503 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Share Posted February 23, 2007 Shawn any time you bend a painted surface you run the risk of cracking the paint no matter how you do it. Paint is not flexable, Even the additive that can be added slowly evaporates from the piece. It is realy ment for ease of install of bumper covers after freshly painting them. AJ Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 you can also make a crack line with a razor blade to limit how far the paint does crack if it does. just take a razor blade and make a cut mark on the lip of the fender just inside of the curve.
