thorne
When my wife was getting off the freeway she had just let her foot off the brake and slide the car sideways, she said it felt like she was loosing control but she did not. Now it shows Service traction system. and the ABS Light is on. Now if this is something i can fix myself i would prefer it, As I don't really look forward to ripping the cold air out just to take it into the shop. Please any input is greatly appreicated. Mallard
Pull the codes. It should tell you exactly whats wrong. If i know the code that threw the lamp I might be able to give you an idea what happened.
thorne
I will pull the codes this weekend. Its not doing it now I drove it to work to find out. as for the caI, Im not risking it. Werse your shop. It might be worth it to me just to have the car looked over to see if there is anything else i should worry about.

Buck531
Yep.. with all the shitty weather and salt we've had dumped on the roads, I wouldn't doubt that the sensor is dirty.

yotaman88210
The sensor is in the area of the brake caliper. It varies on each car but it is right around in there. Make sure you get the under body wash!
