slowbusa Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 my yukon has the 4l60e in it and u can drive for a while and it will max line press. and start shifting like it has a shift kit HARD shifts for no reason i can shut the truck off and restart it and its fine.. but doesnt do it all the time.... do u have any ideal why it does that .. i have anthere tranny but if i can get out of changing it p.s it does show a code but its a miner slip code but u cant fill anything while driving it and seems to do it over 45mph and hard shifts 1st and 2nd till u reset the pcm Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

koolrayz Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 The code is putting it in a "limp" mode were it goes to max pressure. You can set the slip higher in the pcm but i think you may be showing signs of bigger problems down the road. if you have a tuner change the slip parameter, just to see if it stops the shifting issue.
