Joe
sweet numbers! I don't like turbo bikes, but thats one bad mofo!! Mr. Turbo just released a kit for the 14 thats pretty promising. 265hp at 5psi is about the norm, I believe, but I could be wrong. The numbers are just starting to come in. Mr. Jones
I'd venture a guess (bike ignorant) that without a serious drag/ wheely bar setup the bike would be useless/ DEADLY on the street.
Got-Boost?
Actually pretty much all of the bikes making that king of power DO NOT use a drag bar. Most of the streetbike classes don't allow them and the rest of them are for landspeed racing....

You have to understand-that for one thing-the bike will only be at this boost level for .01% of its life, and even when at around 500whp, you need to hook up to do a power wheelie. Its not like the power comes in, and the bike flips around like a damn cartoon-its going to haze the tire 99% of the time, and when it does hook up enough to wheelie, the riders of said bike better be smart enough to ease out of a throttle a bit. lemosley01
I'd venture a guess (bike ignorant) that without a serious drag/ wheely bar setup the bike would be useless/ DEADLY on the street. FWIW, 990cc MotoGP bikes made around 240 HP - they had to have a pretty sophisticated traction control electronics package to make use of the power, and even then, it was too much power - those bikes could and would still haze the tires. The riders are now lapping faster on the less powerful 800cc machines partly because the power is more manageable. What is the power hit like on a turbo bike? Is it smooth or does it suddenly come on?

Is it smooth or does it suddenly come on? Depends on the turbo. This big haussa will ramp in nice and smooth-so you can ponder life before you die. Motorhead's "ghetto" kit-or other popular kits that sport GT-28's come in pretty freakin hard.
