That's sweet.

Two Problem though.

2. The company is selling the Surface for between $5,000 and $10,000 each.

1. It's a PC, I can get Linux running on it.

2. First year out, $5k - $10k and aimed at businesses. The article followed that up saying they hope to drop the prices to consumer levels within the next few years.

All I can say is MAME. Touchscreen Ms Pacman on your coffee table? Or thousands of other games? That would be way better than an arcade system in your house.

Thats cool but have you seen the new O rganic L ight E mitting D iodes or OLED...

these things can be put on a sheet of plastic as thin as paper and you can roll it up and put it in a tube or on your backpack.. They will eventually be wireless and you can lay them anywhere, table, wall or fridge... you will never have to look up again... :D
