stevethepirate Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 I know i dont have a lot of posts on here, but i figured i would see if anyone who has done it in the past wants to donate, or if any new people want to do it for the first time. I signed up to participate in Relay for Life this year. what I'm going to be doing is walking around a track all night (this coming friday i think) raising money to fight cancer. what other people can do is donate. basically, i registered with the foundation, and people can donate through me. the donation goes straight to the foundation, it has very little to do with me. im just the one sending out the link. any donation helps, you dont have to give a large amount. Thanks to everyone, even for just reading this and thinking about it. stevethepirate Posted April 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 12, 2007 thanks, guys. this is my first year doing it. i actually am not donating directly to the ACS. one of the prominent members of one of the fbody sites im on was just diagnosed with cancer, so i sent him some money to help with the medical costs. but im doing relay for life because its just me giving my time to get other donations. nice to hear that other people donate to various causes!
