Stimmel1647545512
Okay, I'm doing the axle swap today on my Thunderbird turbo coupe rear. The axles are out of both the stock mustang 8.8 and stock 373 disc Turbo coupe rear end, I would like to clean out the internals of the Thunderbird rear end because it looks like molases mixed with coal in there. What can I use thats SAFE to clean out the internals? Thanks

Guest Removed
Brake cleaner? I use it to clean everything. lol or solvent depending on the brake cleaner. most of them leave a film behind. soap and water , rinse and dry. after you get buzzed off the brake clean. do what he would do and jump under there with a can in each hand and unload them. Guest JWLane
If you're doing axle bearings and seals... put a bucket at each end and the center to catch crap. Just get a toilet brush and push it through with a pipe, it'll clean the axle tubes out real well with some Purple Power.
