Shields1181 Posted May 11, 2007 Report Share Posted May 11, 2007 Ok...I've come to the conclusion that I want another bike for summer 08'. I know I can handle a litre bike so no worries there. But, I'm torn between an R1 and a CBR1000. I've ridden an 04 R1. I like the handling and the all around feel of the bike but I've never ridden a CBR1000. I want some opinions! lemosley01 Posted May 11, 2007 Report Share Posted May 11, 2007 Someone told me there ans 05 CBR (brand new) at honda northwest (off of cemetery road) that they want like $8500 for. Might be able to get it for cheaper than that. You won't know the difference between the latest hardware and ones that are 2 years old - they're so far above our riding levels, it's not funny.
