NXfedRam Posted May 13, 2007 Report Share Posted May 13, 2007 Looking at buying a cheap car (88 Accord) that has a spark plug that got blown out. The threads most likely stripped inside the head and I'm pretty sure a helicoil is the only option as far as fixing it cheaply goes. Anyone done this before? How much do shops usually charge?
