Wease
Holy crap! 6 speed, stock block and solid axle. 650 rwhp @ just under 25psi...
MrMeanGreen
Blah, Mike Brown did that years ago with a stock LSX and went quicker and faster. Next?
Guest Hal
Very nice, especially since they shipped the first one just about two weeks ago. I believe the 2.8h blower also went 9's this year.
Trjackson
650 @ 25lbs, did I misread that? I was under the impression out of the 2.3L they were getting 600 on 19lbs. Am I wrong? Ty

y2k2gt
My v2 made 600rwhp with only 18psi. It was over 700 with 24psi. Looks to me that it is down on power.
Guest Hal
If it's the car I'm thinking of, it has never made big power. There was a big long discussion about it over on modfords.
RangerTurbo
Meh, Jon Huber ran 8.9 with a 4 cylinder in his 79 Mustang.

I believe the 2.8h blower also went 9's this year. 2.8H car went 9.94 @ 140.25 28PSI, 3775 race weight. Don't look at the dyno numbers, look at the race weight and trap speed. That will tell you more about the power a car is making. Ken's Whipple car always made low power on that dyno but consistently trapped in the upper 130's at 3650lbs+ even with his 2.3 Whipple. These two cars aren't gutted out POS cars either. Both run and idle like stock.
y2k2gt
This is what 23psi on a 4v should do. 641 / 632 15 psi on the pump gas tune with 14.5° and 802 / 760 23 psi race tune with 16° ...even better these peak hp numbers were at 6100 (street) and 6200 (race tune). http://videos.streetfire.net/video/192335f1-d5f2-4016-89d0-9880017e6535.htm

The numbers do the talking-and the track NEVER lies.
MrMeanGreen
Yeah it does. Norwalk had some GTO on here running 10s at like 9xmph since their timing system was messed up
