National Trails tech inspection

So I'm heading to trails friday night. What all is included in their tech inspection? I dont wanna make the trek all the way out there and have to sit in the stands all night...

Make sure if you are going to run a 13 you have a helmet. Also that your not leaking. CAll me up I will head up with you.

They didnt let me run because I was wearing shorts. Long pants are a must.

One thing that might get you is the battery. Be sure it is secure(sp?). They will not let you run if its not.

Can't be just any type of helmet either. I had to beg to let them let me race last year, because my helmet wasn't approved type of helmet.

Ugh...its looking then like I might not be running tomorrow. Thorne said I could use a helmet...I need to rig up a battery tie down today, and fix a tiny driplet of a leak...after working on this thing all week lol

I am going tomorrow- burgundy notch 5.0, if anyone sees me come and introduce- one thing they are 50/50 on and they should be more strict IMO is if you run sticky tires you need a driveshaft loop.

 

Definitely on the pants thing- sometimes even short sleeves- take a long sleeve shirt just in case.

X 2 but they wouldnt let me run last year after my 1st pass because the windshield cracked about 2" fro twisting on launch in stock suspension s10 and I had the tach wire to distributor out of the harness laying loose in the engine compartment they made me take it off and run it through a harness

you can borrow a helmet from the track they keep 4 or 5 in the tower all you do is give them your drivers license
