CJINOHIO03
My car started running bad and had the codes ran. It said it was this sensor. How do you change it? Do you have to remove the power steering pump or can you work around it? Can the wiring be bad? Also what is the proper way to clear codes without a reader? pull the fuse for the pcm? take off the battery cable?? Thanks CJ
Dave1647545494
you need to make sure its the cam sensor first..... a bad crank sensor or mudule can also cause this fault the cam sensor is behind the power steering pump in the intake manifold
Guest ovlo
probe the wires on the sensors. crank\cam sensors are magnetic. put your volt meter on the wires leading from the sensors and look for an ac voltage when you crank the car. this wont show a bad sensor all the time to be shure you need an o scope. but its a start better than throwing parts at it an hoping its fixed
CJINOHIO03
Well I replaced the cam sensor and car still runs like shit misfires. I didt have a volt meter. What else can it be? Wiring? If the crank sensor was bad isnt there a code just for that? What module are you taling about Dave? Thanks CJ
