did you get a new batt. for that thing??

Nice: sentence-,structure? :nono:

Actually, other than not capitalizing "Did", his grammar was correct. I'm assuming you were talking about the period in the middle of the sentence. He used it correctly. He was abbreviating battery. An abbreviation should always be followed by a period. I <3 you anyways.

Couple of things. Yes abbreviations have the period directly after them but that goes for abbreviations that are recognized by the english language to have an abbreviated format. example. Street = St. United States = U.S. etc.. This does not apply to someone who is just truncating a word because they are too lazy to type it out. Not to mention the double question marks and failure to capitalize. I do believe that any english teacher would swiftly give you an F on sentance structure here.

The term batt is shorthand, not an gramatically correct abbreviation. Writing in shorthand will not pass you in your english class and writing in gramatically correct english will not pass you in your shorthand class. With that being said, you made mention of grammer which I have to say Putty is correct. No more :drink: for you at work :evil:

+1 to Putty..

Actually, batt. is a correct abbreviation for battery.

Before you say anything about capital letters, read the third link. Batt. doesn't need to be capitalized.

Now on to your spelling and grammar...

grammer --> grammar

gramatically --> grammatically

english --> English

sentance --> sentence

So flounder, :stfu::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Your bike is faster than my bike. You, sir, are most certainly a "slow" individual... and you forgot the apostrophe in don't and forgot to capitalize the "E" in English, again.

Thank you very much.....Satan, you stand corrected. :tongue:

Those links you posted are considered more to be acronyms than abbreviations. In my perfect world, "batt" is lazyhand for battery.

Since we are bashing grammar...

The next person who types "your" e.g. "YOUR STILL ASIAN" instead of "you're" e.g. "YOU'RE (YOU ARE) STILL ASIAN is going to get kicked in the junk! When you're going to insult someone, do it right!

same thing with people who don't know the difference between "their", "there", and "they're"

:devil: bitches

i'll be out there, but since i get off work at 7, the only way i'd be able to meet at shell on time would be if i wore my work/dress clothes. i'll just be seeing everyone over at QSL...though i have no idea who any of you are!

Look for a group of goofy people standing around bullshittin. There will be a pearl white Suzuki and a Yellow Ducati in the group....
