1qwk767 Posted August 11, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 11, 2007 ok, I think I may have found something, Amy directed me toward www.modulardepot.com I used the search on their and came up with this The carrier caps get torqued to 77ftlbs. Backlash should be between .008 and .015. When you install the pinion, make sure you use a new crush collar. You have to tighten the pinion bolt so that it takes 16-29 inch pounds of resistance to rotate the pinion. Thats with new pinion bearings. If you use the old bearings, then the spec is 8 to 14 inch pounds. Make sure you have an inch pound torque wrench. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
