RRC
I have a, what i was told is and LS@. all i know is that its a 5.3L six bolt main motor out of a newer car. I painted a truck for a friend of mine and ended up w the motor as part of the deal. im pretty sure he said it came out of a truck or a taho. The motor is in great shape and is obviously a low mileage motor- still has the factory cross-hatching in cylinder walls. i also have the pistons and rods- flat tops with the "broken" style rods. the only thing i can see wrong is the rod journals on the crank have some minor surface rust in spots from sitting, i figure all of that could prob be polished out. 450$ obo heres some pics http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/jw_deuce/0906071835.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/jw_deuce/0906071835a.jpg This is a pic of the cross-hatching in the cylinders http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/jw_deuce/0906071836.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/jw_deuce/0906071836a.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g220/jw_deuce/0906071837.jpg Thank You! any guestions email me or PM Me! slammed_dime63@hotmail.com
MrMeanGreen
It's not the LS2, which is the aluminum 6.0L. It's probably the LQ9, which is the iron 5.3L truck block.
