Question for SBC guys - Heads

yea, i was leaning towards the Dart heads anyway... i was just curious. My main concern with building a 420+ inch motor for an FC, is traction. I dont want to build something that i wont be able to control. Plus, id like to use a T56 so having short gears wont do me any good unless i use a long rearend gear... but then it would be a total turd for the first 100 feet.

 

Back to the SBC.... Pedal control trumps all. Have the hp available if you need it and let your foot control the power. I wouldnt go as big as 420 but a nice 408 wouldnt hurt. I say 408ci, dart 225's, 200 shot in 2 stages, and a T56 (even though an auto would be more consistent). I would also look into fabricating a nice suspension so that you dont break the car with all that power :cool:
