clk1 Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a muffler for my 2000 mercedes clk 430 with a v8. i know mostly all the companies out there, i just want to get a good sounding one for my car. i just dont want it to be loud and obnoxious. hpfiend Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 Keep it stock and put an electronic cutout (cutouts if duals) in there after the cats. Sounds sweet, emissions legal, and not too loud. And you go back to factory quiet at the flip of a switch when you get sick of the noise (and you will if you drive the car daily) I did this on my firebird, if my mustang had cats I would have, and will do it on my next car the vette.
