Mike_Shepard
Anyone have one that can take an EGT hole for me? And welding the bong would be great too
SPLN SUX
the BUNG is usually threaded for the sensor... no need to tap anything... just drill or burn a hole in the pipe and weld on the bung. Something that i have seen people do is just weld a nut to the pipe... just an option if you cant find a prethreaded bung.
Mike_Shepard
Yea the bung is pre threaded, My mani needs threaded to match and then welded in sorry
SPLN SUX
why do you need to thread the manifold? just make the hole slightly bigger than the thread and the only thing you have to worry about is the bung... besideds, the manifold could crack under heat cycles if you muck up the thread. Mike_Shepard
I was looking at all the little items in the gauge bag and it has a threadless bung too, I think that would be better and just have it welded in.
