Big A
Well in my 98 camaro the windows and radio have been going out then coming back. After doing some research on ls1tech I believe it is the BCM. I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them? Also how hard it is to fix and/or how much it would cost to get fixed. I know a new BCM is 160 from GMpartsdirect.com but not sure how much to get it put in.
AJ
BCM has a RAP relay in it thats going bad. BCM is on the passenger side HVAC box under the hush panel. Install the new BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement Insert one of the customer's keys into the ignition cylinder and turn it to the on position. Its good to start the engine at this time to verify system operation. Observe the SECURITY indicator lamp for the following: - The indicator lamp lights for approximately 5 seconds and then goes out. This indicates that the BCM is programmed properly. - The indicator lamp flashes at a rate of one flash per second until the ignition is off. This indicates that the BCM did not program and the system components, wiring and contacts should be checked for a fault
