Gergwheel1647545492
I am goign to be getting some new rims for my car and I need to know what backspacing to get? they are going to be 15*8" with a 5*4.75" bolt pattern, but I don't know if i need 4.5" or 5.5" backspacing? Does it really matter? Any pics of the differences would be nice too.
V8 Beast
Its 5.5 for 15x8.. at least it is on 4th gens. We would also have to do some grindings to get it to fit.
Gergwheel1647545492
grindings? on what? if i get the 4.5 could i avoid the grindings and just have it stick out a little? nevermind, i see you have to grind on the calipers to get them to fit. I also see I need a 5.5 backspacing too.
V8 Beast
The grinding was no fun at all. Do you have longer wheel studs too?
Gergwheel1647545492
no I don't. But are they absolutely necessary with the Jegs/summit knock off prostars?
V8 Beast
no I don't. But are they absolutely necessary with the Jegs/summit knock off prostars? I have seen people run without them, but with all of my issues I like to play it safe. If you want to test out my pro stars let me know.
