Better IMHO to have a destroked, high reving engine. The 387 I quoted is a 4.125 bore with a 3.622 (stock) crank. Kinda wishful thinking!! Your probably right though when it comes to motors like what your talking about I'm clueless to. Either way I'd love to have one of those kits with probably a small block like you mentioned.
