Tried to pm but box full....

Any history, papers, shots...etc? Just hard to handle from an energetic puppy standpoint?

Thanks

Sorry...fixed that. Yes, he has all his shots from the time we got him from breeder. Yes, he does have papers. We have not sent anything in to register him. He came with a folder full of stuff.

Anyways, he's very hyper/playful. I've taught him to sit and lay...He rarely has accidents in the house anymore....I take him out quite a bit. He stays in a cage at night and during work, beside our other dog....We never cage our other Boxer, but since the pup can't be trusted to hold it all night yet, we cage both cause the pup barks, if he is left alone. With other dog with him he stays quiet. His paws are already larger than our adult boxer, so I imagine he is going to be a large dog. Just taking on two dogs just is not something we are ready to deal with...We thought it would be easier. I won't take to a shelter...I will deal with it, if I can not find him a home.

I pretty much only feed them twice a day. They don't have water laying around all day either. Therefore, I know after I feed them and they drink, it'll be less than an hour before the pup has to go. Eitherway, I take him out to potty every single time I think about it. The good thing is I can just open the door and let them out. They do what they have to and come back. Most accidents happen when it's rainy or snowing because they go out and drink from puddles or eat tons of snow, which throws my timing off from the last time I gave them water. The pup gets so many potty breaks that peeing isn't the issue with mistakes...He craps on his mistakes cause when I let him out he runs down, pees, and comes back...never craps. Mostly cause he's too busy chasing the other dog.

thats actually everything my dog does. i only feed him twice a day as well, and no water laying out. he LOVES to eat the snow and like you said, throws off their peeing habits. mines done well with not peeing in the house either, just pooping. but he gives me no signs if he needs to... i guess what helps me is i have a condo so i have to take him out on a leash so if he pees, i try to stand out there with him longer to make him poop.

thanks!

Know anything about his bloodline at all?

Sorry to hear of your Dads loss....No, I do not know anything about his bloodline. Honestly, I did not care. I was looking for a playmate for my other dog and just made sure I got a full, registered Boxer.

OK..........Once she read this on here and saw all the people interested in him...she teared up and is trying to reconsider. She asked me for another week or so to make sure we definitely don't want him around anymore. Sorry to put you all off, but I got him for her and I have to deal with misery, if she's upset..standby.
